“Inspire” Exhibit

My life experiences were the motivation for the photographic "Inspire" exhibits.  With a deep respect for mothers, fathers and siblings of special needs children stemming from being raised alongside a sister with Down Syndrome and as a grandmother of a granddaughter diagnosed with Autism, I was motivated to commence a photographic exploration of the dynamic between these relationships.

Seeking to capture the compassion, courage and all-encompassing dedication of parents and siblings, I’ve grown to know, ‘Mothers Who Inspire’ 'Fathers Who Inspire’ and ‘Siblings Who Inspire’ pays homage to these caregivers and their unwavering love, through pain and joy, tears and laughter, that makes these family members and the children deserved of our attention. This project has been a true honor and a privilege and I look forward to bringing awareness to these brave parents and siblings and their beautiful children.

Lynn’s “Inspiring” series of exhibits, depicting the relationships between family members and their loved ones with special needs, are beautiful examples of the way she uses her talents to capture some of the overlooked truths about disability. She has a gentle and generous way with her subjects that they come away from their photo session feeling grateful for the experience of working with her.”
