Nancy La Perla, finally got me to agree to teach a class for the Adult Education program in Glastonbury. Boy, was I nervous. I used to teach to professional portrait photographers back in the 90’s and early 2000’s but this was different. Anyway, I had nothing to worry about since my students were all very excited to learn about taking better photos of People, Places and Things. The first night was in the classroom discussing all the elements of taking good photos.
For the second class we went on a field trip and met at Johns farm, Joesph Preli Farm and Vineyard on Hopewell St. to photograph. This farm in South Glastonbury is one of my favorite to work at. The weather was spectacular for photographing so we lucked out:)
Then we went back to my studio for a little party. Thanks to all my students who signed up for my class and making me feel comfortable. Who knows, maybe I’ll start teaching to my peers again…
Thanks John for having us all there roaming around your property.
It’s a beautiful and inspirational place, you’re so blessed to live there.
I think we all created great images!
Here are mine.
