I finally photographed at the Stewart W. Beckett Farm www.BeckettFarms.net at 1296 Main St. in Glastonbury for the Farm Project. Dr. “Chip” Beckett was expecting me and Leah, his daughter was to join us a half hour later. It was a beautiful summer night as the sun was going down over the fields. I met Leah at the Historical Society Meeting in June and we talked about getting together, not thinking it would take me this long to connect. Boy, am I glad we did, she is leaving for Spain to study aboard for the entire school year, how exciting! Below are a few of the images I took of them together.
Well, I forgot to bring my red boots along, so we made plans the next day to meet at the farmers market www.hartfordfarmersmarket.org in Hartford (next to the Firebox Restaurant) where she would be working. It looked like rain so I brought along my antique umbrella just in case. Leah was so comfortable in my red boots while she was working that everyone commented on how cute she looked! Chris, from Chaplin Farms thinks so too! I’m going to miss you Leah! Enjoy your adventure in Europe!
