Watching Rebecca and Bella dance and play together the day I photographed, brought tears to my eyes. The love and closeness they share together is so strong. I met Rebecca and her family last year when my grand daughter was diagnosed on the spectrum of Autism. Rebecca was kind enough to share with my daughter her own experiences when Bella was diagnosed and they continue to meet socially today. These two mothers have become friends and gain strength from each other, knowing they are not alone, both raising daughters who are Autistic.
“She inspires and teaches me everyday to be a better person, to have patience, to accept differences and mostly to try and understand and relate before passing judgement.”
“I share my special baby girl with you today because she is my hope for a better future. For a world with people who will act kindly to those who may present themselves differently. In the end, we all have the same feelings – we want love and acceptance, kindness and smiles.” Rebecca Vega
Thank you Rebecca for being so kind and being a true inspiration to my daughter Kate and letting me capture the love you share with Bella.
