Photographing Natalie with her mom for this years Mothers Who Inspire exhibit was so much fun. She did everything I asked and was so quiet and agreeable, maybe she was scared of me:) I love all the images when I got her to relax and be herself. She was right at home when Molly brought out her favorite knapsack, her basketball and soccer ball.
I look forward to meeting the rest of her family on Saturday because I know they are one big happy family!
Below is a small piece of Molly’s story:
“I have never considered myself a mother who inspires. I do, however, consider
myself a mother who loves unconditionally. We could not be more proud of our
family, of all of our daughters. We could not be more proud to be a part of a
community of families raising exceptional kids. When you truly love someone
unconditionally, you know that the path you imagined your life would take or the
path you imagined your child’s life would take was just one way to dream. The
path you actually take is so much more intense, so much more meaningful and so
much more filled with love, pride, fear, hope and truth.”
“Natalie is a miracle and she makes this world a better place. The unconditional
love she receives from her family is a reflection of the love she gives and we hope
the world will more and more became a place where Natalie and her peers are
embraced and celebrated.”
The exhibit is only 2 days away.
Thank you Molly and Natalie for being a part of this years project.
I’m so excited to share all these beautiful images with the community.
I’m exhausted but so worth the late nights getting things ready.
See you on Saturday between 2:00 and 4:00.
