Only 18 days till the 2016 Fathers Who Inspire exhibit.
Can’t wait to share all the beautiful portraits of these amazing children with their great Dads on Fathers Day, June 19th from 2:00 till 4:00pm.
Meeting and photographing Madison with her Dad, Bill was so much fun. Watching Madison reminded me of my own sister Jane when she was a young girl..so sweet and friendly.
The Hanson family are all inspiring. I look forward to photographing Madison with her sister Abigail for next years exhibit,
Siblings Who Inspire!
Below is a quote from Bills story….
“As Madison grows and we learn about Down syndrome our ignorance
is being washed away. Down syndrome’s official name is Trisomy 21.
Which means she has an extra 21 st chromosome. I like to refer to that
extra chromosome as the LOVE chromosome. People with Down
syndrome who have been loved, seem to have a higher capacity to
love and forgive than us so called “normal” people. They tend to be
the fun loving, sweet and caring people. Madison is the first one that
trys to make you laugh, to see if you are okay when you have gotten
hurt, compassion could be her middle name.” Bill Hanson
I love all the images from the session, it was difficult to edit for sure.
Madison is a LOVE bug!
Hope to see you on the 19th to honor these Dads and meet their children.
