Today is the day!
Happy Fathers Day to all the dads I photographed for this Fathers Day exhibit. I’m packing everything up now to go down to the Congregational Church of South Glastonbury and set up to share with all the members of my church then the community. Please join me from 2:00 till 4:00 to view and read the stories about these families.
You will truly be inspired and maybe shed a tear or too..
Finn is another classmate of my grand daughter Gianna. He is a sweet and beautiful boy and I see him often when I drop Gianna off at school. I love the idea she has these little friends to be with at school. Finn has such loving parents and I knew I wanted to capture Scott and Finn in action. We met at the river and they brought a bucket of rocks so he had plenty to throw in the river.
“Finn is such a positive influence on our entire family. We have truly learned so much from him. We have learned to look at things in a different perspective and to slow down and enjoy every little victory. We cherish the ability to share his joy in one of his favorite activities such as running through the waves at the beach, jumping on a trampoline, or being tickled in one of his pillow nests.
Being a father of a special needs child is blessing. Finn enables me to be my very best. In life we cannot chose the challenges we face but we can choose to face those challenges with hope and optimism.
Finn has been a blessing to us and I am proud and honored to be his father.” Scott Magner
